QuickChek Corporation, a leader in food services with an exceptional fresh coffee and fresh food program that has been voted the best in America, has been named one of the Best Companies to Work for in New York State for the sixth consecutive year.
The Whitehouse Station, NJ-based fresh convenience market chain was recognized by The New York State Society for Human Resources Management (NYS-SHRM) and Best Companies Group, an independent firm managing Best Places to Work programs around the country. Survey components include employee satisfaction and engagement.
QuickChek enjoys the rare distinction of being honored in both New York, where it has 15 stores, and New Jersey, where it has been named one of the Best Places to Work seven times by NJBIZ magazine.
The family-owned company employs more than 4,200 team members and has 154 retail locations throughout New York’s Hudson Valley, Long Island and New Jersey. QuickChek was named the 2016 National Convenience Store Chain of the Year. Its coffee was voted best in America in a national consumer survey conducted by Technomic.
The company’s newest fresh convenience market is scheduled to open in Copiague, NY this winter.
