Opens Newest Store In Union Township With Fresh Food All Day And Free Coffee Every Friday!
UNION TOWNSHIP, NJ — Life in Western Hunterdon County is about to get a whole lot fresher.
QuickChek, the leader in fresh convenience for more than 50 years, continues to meet the needs of busy people on the go with the opening of its new 5,694-square-foot store at 172 Perryville Road at Exit 12 on Route 78 in Union Township on Tuesday, April 4, 2023.
Coffee. Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner. Energy. Fuel. This new store “cheks” these boxes off your daily list.
Innovations include the iconic fresh convenience market chain’s “Fresh to Go” interior layout designed to enhance the shopping experience for those who live, work in and travel through the area.
More than half of the new store will be dedicated to freshly prepared food and beverages, including QuickChek’s guaranteed fresh brewed hot and iced coffees, to meet the needs of today’s fast-casual shopper.
The new store is equipped with a generator so it can remain open during power outages, which is vital to those living in the area or traveling this stretch of Route 78.
Free Coffee Fridays
QuickChek is thanking its most loyal customers, and rewarding new members of the QuickChek Rewards program, with free coffee every Friday through April 28.
QuickChek Rewards members can get a free coffee — any size, hot or iced — with any in-store purchase during its “Free Coffee Fridays” by scanning the QuickChek Rewards mobile app or entering their phone number at checkout. The new Spring season menu features new Blueberry Pomegranate Real Fruit Smoothies; new Blueberry Pomegranate Lemonade served iced or frozen; and new Nashville Hot Chicken Flautas.

The new Union Township store will be open 24 hours a day, allowing consumers to create delicious made-to-order breakfast items, personalize their oven-toasted fresh QuickChek subs, wraps and salads, as well as customize hot and cold beverages exactly as they want them, or select freshly prepared ready-to-go items, any time of day or night.
Amenities include no-fee ATMs which provide additional added value to consumers; 10 fueling positions; and ample parking with 50 parking spaces.

The free QuickChek Rewards loyalty program offers benefits such as mobile ordering, savings including free menu items, and frequent shopper membership perks throughout the year.

Positive Impact on the Community
QuickChek enjoys longstanding ties to Hunterdon County. The company’s headquarters and support center are based in Whitehouse Station.
Each new QuickChek store typically creates 35-to-45 new local jobs including eight management positions and generates approximately $1 million in tax revenue.
Committed to giving back to the communities it serves, QuickChek raised $86,500 through its annual golf outing last year for Alternatives, Inc. of Raritan to help provide comprehensive services to local area individuals and families with developmental disabilities.
A team of volunteers picked 21,000 pounds of peaches at America’s Grow-A-Row in Pittstown last May and customers helped raise $67,000 during QuickChek’s “Pennies 4 Produce” in-store campaign to help those struggling with food insecurity.
As part of the Union Township grand opening celebration, QuickChek will donate $0.25 for every sub sandwich sold in the new store during the store’s first 30 days to the Plainfield Boys & Girls Club to help Fuel Great Futures for local kids throughout the region.
