QuickChek, the leader in fresh convenience for more than 50 years, continues to meet the needs of busy people on the go with the opening of its new 5,670-square-foot store at 809 Riverview Drive at Route 46 West in Totowa on Tuesday, May 9, 2023.
Innovations include the iconic fresh convenience market chain’s “Fresh to Go” interior layout designed to enhance the shopping experience for those who live, work in, shop and travel through the area.
More than half of the new store is dedicated to freshly prepared food and beverages, including QuickChek’s guaranteed fresh brewed hot and iced coffees, to meet the needs of today’s fast-casual shopper.
Bucking the current economic trend, QuickChek is growing. Totowa is the fourth new QuickChek location to open in six weeks, joining new stores in Ridgefield, Union Township, and Nanuet, NY. A fifth new store is scheduled to open soon in East Hanover.
These new stores create a total of 175 to 225 new local jobs.
New Menu, Store Design & Innovation
The Whitehouse Station, NJ-based fresh convenience market chain is a leader in food services with an exceptional fresh brewed coffee and fresh food program that has been voted the best in America in a national consumer survey. The new store’s look — and Spring menu celebrating the freshness of the season — are very appealing.

The new Totowa store is open 24 hours a day, allowing consumers to create delicious made-to-order breakfast items, personalize their fresh QuickChek subs, wraps and salads, as well as customize hot and cold beverages exactly as they want them, or select freshly prepared ready-to-go items, any time of day or night.
Amenities include no-fee ATMs which provide additional added value to consumers; 16 fueling positions; indoor seating for 10 people and outdoor seating for 8; and ample parking with 45 parking spaces.
The store offers multiple entrances and exits including making a left or right turn at a traffic signal onto Riverview Drive.

The new menu features delicious slow-cooked hickory smoked over 10 hours pulled pork subs such as Pulled Pork & Pickles, Pulled Pork & Slaw, and Triple Nashville Hot Pulled Pork. Pulled Pork Time also includes Nashville Hot Pulled Pork Mac & Cheese, Southwest Pulled Pork Mac & Cheese, and BBQ Pulled Pork Mac & Cheese; and BBQ Pulled Pork Breakfast Bowls and Spicy Carnitas Breakfast Burritos.
The freshest flavors of the season can be enjoyed hot or iced. QuickChek’s famed coffee wall features its award-winning fresh brewed coffee including limited-time-only Blueberry Cobbler. You can also refresh yourself with Real Fruit Watermelon Smoothies, available with protein boosts.
Raise Your Energy Level

Each new QuickChek store typically creates 35-to-45 new local jobs including eight management positions and generates approximately $1 million in tax revenue.
