New Jersey Lottery Executive Director James Carey visited the store on Feb. 5 and presented Store Leader Rob Mattia with a ceremonial check for $30,000 representing the bonus commission the store receives for selling the winning jackpot ticket.
This was the fourth million-dollar lottery winner in four months. Yes, shopping at QuickChek is rewarding!
The huge Powerball jackpot follows another lucky QuickChek customer winning a $1 million New York Lottery Cash Money Scratch-Off in January. That winning ticket was purchased in Store #131 on Route 9W in Newburgh, NY.
A Mega Millions lottery ticket worth $1 million was sold for the November 10, 2020 drawing at Store #172 in North Plainfield, NJ. The lucky ticket matched five numbers but not the Mega Ball.
A $1.2 million ticket for the New Jersey Lottery’s Jersey Cash 5 jackpot was sold just a few weeks earlier on September 27 at Store #25 in the Fords section of Woodbridge.
