WHITEHOUSE STATION, N J — Each day, people throughout the metropolitan area start their day with a cup of fresh brewed QuickChek coffee. Last year alone, QuickChek sold more than 17 million cups of coffee! With this volume and dedication, it is no surprise that QuickChek has been recognized as the best coffee amongst convenience stores in the United States.

The Whitehouse Station, NJ-based fresh convenience store chain ranked #1 for its coffee program among c-store competitors in CSP magazine’s “10 Great Coffee Programs for 2023” consumer survey. Consumer response placed QuickChek top among Convenience competitors and several restaurants in CSP’s “20 Great Coffee Programs of 2023” earlier this year, a consumer survey that evaluated Convenience and Quick Service Restaurant coffee offerings.

The report noted the brand’s commitment to its Coffee and Beverage program, striving to serve the best, freshest coffee and growing the category through innovation.

Aside from specific mentions of QuickChek’s coffee area being fully stocked and clean, QuickChek stood apart from competitors with Fresh Brewed Iced Coffee including Flavored Iced Coffee, limited-time-only coffee flavors including Kris Kringle and Vanilla Crème Brule, the company’s seasonal “Free Coffee Fridays” for QuickChek Rewards members, and its QCafé, where consumers can enjoy made-to-order energy drinks, frozen lemonades, real fruit smoothies, and more.

A survey participant noted: “The choice and quality of the gourmet coffee was exceptional.”

Additionally, CSP magazine’s 18th annual Mystery Shop survey ranked QuickChek in the Top 5 for overall scores in Convenience. The top five 2023 scores were within 3.8% of each other. QuickChek was the only participating c-store chain to score 100% for having milk alternatives as part of its coffee bar — at no additional cost.

Dan Haskell, Vice President and Head of Food & Beverage at QuickChek, says a key component to the strength of the company’s coffee program is its coffee hosts.

“These highly trained team leaders are responsible for managing the high traffic QCafé and ensuring customer satisfaction. It is not unusual for these QuickChek associates to know their customers by name,” said Haskell. “We enjoy a long legacy of a strong coffee program and look forward to continuing to innovate and refine our offering, always keeping our team and customers at the forefront.”
