OPENS NEW CONCEPT STORE IN MONROE TOWNSHIP AUGUST 29
MONROE TOWNSHIP, NJ — Continuing to redefine “fresh convenience,” QuickChek is taking its ability to provide fresh products and food-to-go to a whole new level.
The Whitehouse Station, NJ-based fresh convenience market chain, a leader in food services with an exceptional fresh coffee and fresh food program that has been voted the best in America in a national consumer survey, will open a new prototype 5,496–square-foot store located at 102 Applegarth Road in Monroe Township on Tuesday, August 29, 2017.
The sleek open concept layout features earth tone colors, cleaner sightlines and expansive aisles with spacious food stations including extensive displays of freshly made QuickChek grab-and-go food and market items, fresh baked goods made in-store, and a large stand-alone soup station offering a daily rotation of freshly-prepared, never-frozen soups.
Embracing the dining habits of today’s millennial consumer, indoor seating counters offer phone and laptop charging stations and free WiFi.
The new store will be open 24 hours a day, enabling customers to create delicious made-to-order breakfast items and handcrafted oven-toasted fresh QuickChek subs, sandwiches, wraps and salads and personalized hot and cold beverages exactly as they want them, or select freshly prepared ready-to-go items, any time of day or night.
“We feel this new design provides a better showcase for our high-quality, great tasting fresh food and beverage menu items throughout our new stores as we continue to meet the ever-changing shopping and dining habits of today’s consumer,” said QuickChek CEO Dean Durling, whose family-owned company was named the 2016 National Convenience Store Chain of the Year by Convenience Store Decisions magazine in part due to its dedication to customer needs.
The new food service menu includes delicious full bodied, smooth tasting QuickChek cold brew coffee and six new varieties of QuickChek signature chicken sandwiches such as Classic Home Style Breaded Chicken, Classic Spicy Breaded Chicken, and Diablo Deluxe Breaded Chicken with ghost pepper sauce, served regular or deluxe style, on a brioche roll.
QuickChek stores provide local one-stop shopping, offering a wide variety of grocery and market items and excellent customer service provided by locally hired team members. Modern by industry standards, the privately-held company maintains bright clean stores, well-lighted fuel stations and parking lots with wide, easy-to-use entrances and exits that add to a shopper’s convenience.
Amenities in the new store include no-fee ATMs which provide additional added value to consumers; indoor seating for 10 people and outdoor seating for eight; eight gasoline pumping stations offering high-quality fuel at value prices; and 57 parking spaces.
Fast friendly service, self-checkout counters and an expanding mobile ordering menu further meet the needs of today’s on-the-go shopper.
The new Monroe Township store creates 45 new local jobs, including eight management positions. Each new QuickChek location typically generates approximately $1 million in tax revenues, adding to its positive impact on the local economy.
Committed to giving back to the communities it serves, QuickChek will donate $0.25 for every sub, sandwich and wrap sold in the store from August 29-September 28, 2017 to the Monroe Wolverines Pop Warner Football and Cheer league.
Grand Opening promotions include free large QuickChek hot coffee offered to all patrons from August 29-September 10, 2017. All 6-inch QuickChek subs are $3 for a limited time and all handcrafted QuickChek smoothies and specialty drinks are $1.99 from August 29-September 10, 2017.
